City of Pittsburg issued the following announcement on Dec. 4

Contra Costa County, alongside the City of Berkeley and five other Bay Area counties, will be adopting California's Stay Home orders on an earlier timeline. The Health Officers have issued a joint press release that moves to implement the state’s new regional stay home order sooner, rather than waiting until Intensive Care Unit (ICU) bed availability reaches critical levels. The temporary restrictions will go into effect on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 10 p.m. in Contra Costa County, and will remain in effect through January 4, 2021.
