On Wednesday, April 30, former Heritage High School standout Savanah Whatley’s current college team, the Liberty Lady Flames, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Virginia Cavaliers.
The game took place at Palmer Park. This was their second matchup against the Cavaliers this season.
It was the last Liberty Lady Flames’ game this season

The week starting Monday, Sept. 8 will feature action from these former East Contra Costa County area high school stars.
These former East Contra Costa County area high school athletes will be active in competitions the week of Monday, Sept. 1.
