Santa Claus will make an appearance at Buchanan Field Airport in Concord on Saturday, December 13, 2025. According to the Contra Costa County Public Works Department, Santa is scheduled to arrive by REACH Air Medical helicopter at 10:00 a.m., depending on weather conditions. Visitors can watch the arrival by entering through the Concord Plaza Hotel and moving to the area behind the hotel.
After his arrival, Santa will head to the Concord Plaza Hotel Atrium at 45 John Glenn Drive. From 10:30 a.m. until noon, children will have a chance to take photos with Santa in the Atrium at no cost. Donations of money for the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano will be accepted during the event.
“Attendees can witness their arrival by entering the Concord Plaza Hotel and proceeding to the area behind the hotel. Following his spectacular arrival, Santa will proceed to the Concord Plaza Hotel Atrium at 45 John Glenn Drive. From 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., children will have the opportunity to take a picture with Santa in the Atrium. There is no charge for photos. However, Santa and his helpers will be accepting monetary donations for the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano to support those in need in our community.”
