There are nine professional licenses set to expire in Contra Costa County during the fourth quarter of 2022, according to California’s Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA).
The same number of licenses was set to expire the quarter before.
The DCA is composed of several agencies, bureaus, and commissions that influence business growth and job creation through regulation. The agency has roots that date back to 1876 when California passed the Medical Practice Act of 1876. Today the agency issues more than 280 license types including certificates, registrations, and permits.
