On Saturday, March 29, former Freedom High School standout Madison Evers-Lyles’ current college team, the Sacramento State Hornets, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Idaho State Bengals.

The game took place at Shea Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Bengals this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 4 p.m. at Bill Simoni Field against Pacific Tigers.
