On Friday, Feb. 28, former Freedom High School standout Madison Evers-Lyles’ current college team, the Sacramento State Hornets, lost 6-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Nevada Wolf Pack.

The game took place at Shea Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Wolf Pack this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12 p.m. at Shea Stadium against Santa Clara Broncos.
