The Contra Costa County Public Works Department is set to conduct a topographical survey on Bailey Road from January 6 to January 9, 2026. The work will take place between Willow Avenue and Myrtle Drive, focusing on three locations near the Keller Canyon Landfill and extending about 2,600 feet south of the landfill entrance.

According to the department, work hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., depending on weather conditions and possible changes based on traffic observations. Minor traffic control measures will close the shoulder of the road during the survey. The department does not expect significant impacts to traffic but advises drivers to slow down while passing through the area.
