The Contra Costa County Public Works Department will conduct topographical survey work on Franklin Canyon Road from Tuesday, January 6, 2026, to Friday, January 9, 2026. The survey will take place at two points along Franklin Canyon Road: near the intersection with McHarry Ranch Road and about 500 feet north of that intersection. Work hours are scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. The schedule may change depending on traffic conditions.
Minor traffic control measures will be implemented for shoulder closures during the survey period. According to the department, no significant traffic disruptions are expected, but drivers are encouraged to slow down when passing through the area.
